Set in Occupied France during World War II, THE BOMBARDIER is about an American bombardier who bails out of his flaming B-17 and is rescued by the same provincial villagers that he just accidentally bombed. Once in the village he has to deal with the tragedy caused by his narrow escape as well as a young Nazi officer with something to prove; that will stop at nothing to find him. I love the idea of bringing a bombardier who has only seen the war from 30,000-feet; out of the sky and down into a foreign situation to see firsthand what happens after his bombs are dropped and the lives he ultimately impacts.
